Well worth the money,I/m still using a Stanley plane my Dad bought when an apprentice chippy in 1953 so you cant get a better recommendation of longevity than that!

Ideal for all places around a house or flat, does not break easily, very sturdy. Was easy to use and had no problems what so ever with it.

Top Tip: Buy it while you can because you never know when you will need it.

My mother brought me my smoothing plane 45 years ago when I was at school and it was the shools requirement. for the student to have his own woodworking toolset..My mother brought me the plane & also a tenon saw both of which I still have and use,All of the other tools are either lost or worn out but these two Stanley tools are as good now as when they were first purchased,I only have one problem however and that is having to borrow them back from my son who has now it seems owns them.

Top Tip: You pay for what you get ,Stanley tools can be puchased with the confidence of getting a Quality item from a reputable Named brand

Does a great job every time. Solid reliable tool that I have used on doors and other home uses. Recommended for other occasional DIY users!

Top Tip: Start with a shallow setting or you risk gouging chunks out the wood.
