I have been using this smooting plane for a while now and think that it has to be the best plane I have used it keeps it sharpness for longer and always gives you a brilliant clean finish. It is also easy to dismantle sharpen and clean. I would advise anyone looking for a plane to choose this one cause its just absolutely brilliant in everyway.
Top Tip: Do not leave out to much blade and go with the grain for longer sharpness time

This is a traditional Plane and to use the well known phrase “It does what it says on the tin” Manufacturers are always reinventing the wheel but arguably not as well. Look at how cars are going. I believe tools have had years of development and you can't beat a traditional plane. This is everything you would want and will last your life time. Just treat the blade with respect to prevent injury and damage. Wind it back in is my advice. The tool feels right and works as you would expect.

This Plane has to be one of the best Smoothing planes around. Stanley should be proud to have their name on it.
