I've never drempt of using a chisel until my partner left and i needed to fit a new lock. I brought a set of these chisels and they were suprisingly easy to use. I'd reccommend any girl to give them a go.

Although amongst the cheaper range of chisels available, this should by no means be a reason to think less of the chisel. These 'budget' chisels offer precise, clean lines and can perform as well as any chisel out there given the choice. The grip may not be the most ergonomical, though it in no way puts your hand off chiselling. A quality tool at a bargain price!
Top Tip: Always chisel away from the body incase of slips. Chisels are no safer than knives, and just as sharp if not sharper. A sharp blade gives much cleaner lines.

I'd bought 'stores own' chisels before investing in a 'proper' Stanley one and wish I'd got one to start with. Quality bit of kit that does a better job than any of the others I've tried. I think I've used my Stanley chisel on pretty much every bit of DIY I've done and it's put up with a lot of abuse. Still going strong though!

Fantastic. Had some of these for AGES. Have really given them some use and misuse! Just do their job very well.
Top Tip: Keep them sharp with a good oilstone and protect the blade when not in use
