Very easy chisel to use, good grip and i achieved no splitting, i highly recommend this chisel as a good alround carpenters chisel.

very good. i used the wider chisel for opening a window that was painted shut. it did the job admirably.

These chisels are superb, I first bought a set of these chisels a decade ago and they have served me very well indeed. They have been used for general carpentry&joinery and have never let me down. I have had no problems with splitting of any kind and they hold their edge extremely well. I have had to invest in a new set due to theft.
Top Tip: never leave them in your van ,thieves like them!
